UK YOUTH DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE SOUTHERN PREMIER 1 The first fixture of four took place on Sunday 1 May at Eton (Late change of venue from Reading).

Thanks to all our officials who not only did a great job but also contributed 55 points towards our points total. Although the final 4th place was disappointing, We had some fantastic results and loads of PBs from a very young team. many athletes had to work very hard in taking on extra events at short notice to cover as many gaps as possible. We had a number of our middle distance athletes absent due to illness and exams so I’m sure when we get out our “normal” team next time on Sunday 29 May at Bromley we will move up the table. however we have some structural weaknesses in Steeplechase for example that need to be remedied.

Team result – 1st Blackheath & Bromley (816 points), 2nd Reading (719 points), 3rd Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (697 points), 4th SBH (627 points), 5th Tonbridge (462 points), 6th Enfield & Haringey (409 points)
