Hertfordshire Cross Country Championships – Haileybury College, Hertford Heath – 8 January 2017

What a day for Shaftesbury with 6 individual County Champions – ARCHIE NASH U11, LUCA STUBBS U13, AIMI WEIGHTMAN U13, KRISTIAN IMROTH U15 (2nd Claim), GEORGE GROOM U17 and NATALIE CONNOR U20. Also our strength in depth was shown in the team results, winning 4 titles – Under 11 Boys, Under 17 Men, Under 17 Women and Under 20 Women.

Under 17 Women – LIDIA KYRIACOU, SARAH BUTLER and JESSICA HURLEY winners of the Team Title, also LIDIA KYRIACOU wearing her Individual Silver Medal

Under 17 Men – GEORGE GROOM and JEREMY DEMPSEY winners of the Team Title, THOMAS FULTON not present. Our ‘B’ team finished with the Team Silver Medals. Individually GEORGE was County Champion, JEREMY won the Silver Medal and THOMAS the Bronze Medal. In all 3 photographs is BRIAN FOWLER organiser of the Championships.
