THROWS LONDON HAMMER/SHOT WORKSHOP – The workshop and competition day is being held at St Marys University this Saturday 13 December.
The workshops are for athletes and coaches alike and you are welcome to attend one or both during the day. These workshops are free and being delivered by Rob Earle, NCM for Hammer and Mark Chapman, NCM for Shot & Discus in the South. Please note these will be mainly practical based and as such, will be outside on the track. Please confirm attendance so I know to expect you. The competitions will run in the afternoon and I am hoping they will run alongside each other, official’s numbers dependant. If any of you are officials and wish to help, please do let me know. Likewise if you wish to compete, please advise so I’m aware of numbers beforehand. Payment of £3 per event is made on the day. Please also bring refreshments for the day, as I am not 100% sure if the café there will be open. As per the last event at Walthamstow, Amir Williamson will be on hand during the day to provide sports massage free of charge to any athlete (injured or not) who requires it.
