SCOTTISH ATHLETICS OPEN MEETING – They have just advised me that they have a National Open Meeting on Saturday 18 January National Open Meeting which is for age-groups U14 up to Senior’s and is open to non-Scottish Athletes. Events are 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Sprint Hurdles, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault (Opening Height 1.70m) and Shot. Entry fee £5 per event.

NEW EVENT BRUNEL UNIVERSITY JUMPS AND SHOT MEETING – Take place on Saturday 14 December, Saturday 11 January, Saturday 1 February, Saturday 8 March.
Saturday 14 December – Brunel University Indoor Jumps & Shot Meeting – Brunel University, IAC, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge UB8 3PH. Start times 11.00am Pole Vault (PB Below 3m) and Triple Jump (2 Pools), 12.00noon High Jump (PB Above 1.6m), 1.15pm Long Jump (2 Pools), 2.00pm Pole Vault (PB Above 3m), 2.30pm Women’s Shot Put and High Jump (PB Below 1.6m), 4.00pm Men’s Shot Put. E-mail pre-entries to bruneljumpsfestival@gmail.com at least one week prior to each event, or enter on the day (Note: Pole Vault has to be by pre-entry only). Please include name, DOB, club, event/s and PB/s. Open to U13s up to Senior’s, Entries are £3 for U20s and £5 for Senior’s per event. You must register and pay on the day at least 1 hour prior to your event start time.
