SOUTHERN ROAD RELAY VICTORY – Congratulation to the Senior Men’s team who won the Southern 12 Stage Relay at Milton Keynes on 29 March, the team with a balance of experienced and junior runners, winning by just over 2 minutes. Of course not forgetting team manager TONY JACKSON who has had his fair share of disappointments over the past few years, well done. Our last win was in 2007 where we beat Belgrave Harriers by 30 seconds. Regarding Robbie Lightowler when he entered the track at the end of his leg the high winds blew the hammer cage netting onto the track and Robbie caught his foot in the net and took a nasty tumble grazing his shoulder and hand.
