NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY RELAYS – Took place last Saturday in Berry Hill Park, Mansfield
On a somewhat chilly day, our runners produced a range of top class performances throughout the teams. However, the outstanding result was by our Under 17 Men, who are now the proud holders of the National and Southern Road and Cross Country Relay Championships. The team got off to a blistering start with HAMZA KADIR running the 2nd fastest time of the race, on Leg 2 JEREMY DEMPSEY took the team into the lead with the 6th fastest time of the race, on the final Leg ELLIOT DEE pulled further in front running the 4th fastest time of the race, finishing just over 27 seconds ahead of Charnwood. Not to be outdone the ‘B’ team of THOMAS FULTON, THOMAS PATRICK and BEN WINFIELD finished 7th.
