FEBRUARY HALF TERM CAMPS AT ALLIANZ PARK – You will get the opportunity to be coached by some of our elite athletes and high quality coaches. Individuals can expect to cover a range of athletics disciplines over the course of the camp in this world class facility. With the use of our 70m Olympic indoor track with other indoor facilities including a jumps pit, high jump and pole vault facility this promises to be a great experience for any young athlete wishing to develop their athletic disciplines.

SOUTHERN CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS – Took place on Saturday 24 January at Stanmer Park, Brighton. Top honours went to our UNDER 15 BOYS – GEORGE GROOM, JEREMY DEMPSEY, THOMAS PATRICK and JOSH EDWARDS – Bronze Teams Medalists
UNDER 20 MEN – MARK PEARCE, PHILLIP CROUT, BEN ROCHFORD and DALTON MCGUIGAN who won Team Bronze Medals.
JAMIE DEE U17 won an Individual Silver Medal.
There were also Top 10 finishes from FINN HARVEY U13 (8th), GEORGE GROOM U15 (4th), JEREMY DEMPSEY U15 (5th) and MARK PEARCE U20 (6th)

INDOOR JUMPS TRAINING – Following the success of the 2013/2014 series Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers and North London Network in conjunction with Sportivate, are promoting the 2015 series at Allianz Park commencing Wednesday 7January until Wednesday 25 March.
The training camp will include an introduction to Pole Vault (coached by Angus McKenzie and Allan Sutton) and will also aim to improve the skills and knowledge of Network coaches and their athletes in High Jump (coached by Sue Smith), Long Jump and Triple Jump (coached by Alfredo Melao).
The camp is from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, warm up and registration 6.30pm. Cost (including entry into the facilities) – Young Athletes (U20) & Students: £3 per session, Seniors: £5 per session.
