THE RENOVATION WORKS AT THE SHAFTESBURY BARNET HARRIERS CLUB HOUSE ARE GOING TO PLAN – The air conditioning units have been fitted as have the new light fittings. This week the Club sign has been temporarily removed and two large additional windows have been put in place. A new large portakabin has been erected next to the Clubhouse and the SBH cardio-vascular equipment has been moved into it. We are told by the contractors that the works will probably take a further 3 weeks, which includes the redecoration and works to the roof. In addition, Middlesex University will be supplying new equipment and a new floor for the gym. There will also be a change of access and use, with a Photo/Card entry system on all 3 doors (2 external and 1 internal). Information on how to register for the Photo/Card entry system will be published shortly.
