NEW CLUB INDOOR RECORD – Congratulations to RICHARD CHARLES U23 whose time of (1:50.03) in the BUCS Championships on 22 February was a new Club Indoor Record, eclipsing the (1:50.35) by Jason Dupuy in 1998

NEW CLUB OUTDOOR RECORD – Congratulations to CHRIS BENNETT who in his first competition in 2015, broke his own Club Hammer Record with a throw of (73.00m) adding 42cm to his previous record set in 2014. The competition was held in Livingston on 28 February

ENGLAND SPRINT CHAMPIONS – Congratulations to OJIE EDOBURUN U20 and DARRYL NEITA U20 who both become England 60m Champions at Sheffield last week-end, and are both ranked UK No.1 U20 in 2015, these are the results.

60m – U20 Men Heat 2 ANDREW AMOAH 2nd (7.09), Heat 10 OJIE EDOBURUN 1st (6.76) In semi-final 1 OJIE finished 1st (6.75), ANDREW finished 4th (7.08) in the final OJIE became England Champion (PB 6.69) equalling his 1 February time, winning by .07 of a second

60m – U20 Women Heat 3 PAGE FAIRCLOUGH 2nd (PB 7.65) taking .03 of a second off her 14 February time, Heat 4 DARRYL NEITA 1st (7.35) In semi-final 1 DARRYL finished 1st (PB 7.33) equalling her 8 February time, PAGE finished 8th (8.06) in the final DARRYL became England Champion (PB 7.32) taking .01 of a second off her 8 February time, winning by .15 of a second, also breaks her own Indoor U20 Club Record

WINTER CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS – The final Club Champions will be decided at the North West London League at Wormwood Scrubs on 28 March, which is for the Under 11 Boy and Girl.

QUALIFIED COACHES REQUIRED – I am looking for qualified coaches to help support delivery of after Schools Athletics sessions in local Schools in Barnet.

All sessions will be paid! (Rate on application based on qualifications & experience).

COACHING COURSES AT ALLIANZ PARK – The following course will be held on Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April Coaching Assistant cost is £135. If you would like information or need any help in getting registered please contact Ian on ianbannister@saracens.net.

INDOOR JUMPS TRAINING – Following the success of the 2013/2014 series Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers and North London Network in conjunction with Sportivate, are promoting the 2015 series at Allianz Park commencing Wednesday 7January until Wednesday 25 March.

The training camp will include an introduction to Pole Vault (coached by Angus McKenzie and Allan Sutton) and will also aim to improve the skills and knowledge of Network coaches and their athletes in High Jump (coached by Greg Dunson), Long Jump and Triple Jump (coached by Michael Brown).

The camp is from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, warm up and registration 6.30pm. Cost (including entry into the facilities) – Young Athletes (U20) & Students: £3 per session, Seniors: £5 per session.

Enter main car park off Du Cane Road (via Artillery Lane), through 6’6” height/width barrier. Extra parking will be available in the enclosed/fenced hospital parking area. The Scottish Athletics Winter Warmer Hammer Meeting (Outdoors) took place Livingston on 28 February

Hammer 7.26kg CHRIS BENNETT 1st (PB 73.00m) adding 42cm to his 2014 throw, and is a New Club Record eclipsing his own (72.58m) set in 2014, and is ranked UK No.1 in 2015

The South East Schools Championships (Cross Country) took place at Harrow School on 28 February
